For DIY enthusiasts, the steel top can be polished. The steel top plate can be installed over an existing top or on a custom-built base. Contact Stockroom Supply directly for the steel plate only.  Instructions are provided for tuning the top plate upon installation. The mdf base plate is included with this model.

If using the basic drum sander plan, slight modifications may be needed to accommodate this top. We recommend waiting to build the box until you receive the top for accurate adjustments.
