4" Cup Mop Kit - Sanding Mop

  • $24.95
    Unit price per

The Cupped Mop is ideal for sanding inside of bowls, and especially effective for getting into areas cut by a CNC router. While this mop is slightly more specialized due to it's shape, it can still be used to sand anything with detail, while maintaining the integrity of the profile.

The Cupped Mop is only available in the 4" size and unlike all other Mop kits includes 24 sheets instead of 48. The 4" Cupped Mop comes assembled and includes sandpaper, mandrel, Cup Adapter. If you already own a 4" Mop and would like to change it into a Cupped Mop, the Cup Adapter is available separately. 1 - 4" Sanding Mop refill will make 2 cup mops.

One thing to remember about the mop is that speed is the key. The faster you run your mop the better it will work and the longer it will last. 4" Mops need to be spun at a speed between 2000 and 6000 RPM. They will still work when being spun at slower speeds but will not last as long.
